Karen Sangster Specialisation: family and matrimonial
Karen joined the firm in 1978, becoming a fully qualified Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (FILEX) in 1986. A member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel since July 2000 and a full member of the Solicitors Family Law Association, Karen is responsible for the matrimonial and family law undertaken by the firm. She has completed Solicitors Family Law Association mediation course and is a member of the Management Committee of the East Cambridgeshire Contact Centre as well as the East Cambridgeshire Domestic Violence forum. |

Barbara Judkins Specialisation: property litigation
Barbara was admitted in 1980, joining the firm in 1995. Since then she has carved out a niche in property litigation: her work entails all aspects of land dispute, rights of way, easements and boundaries together with Landlord and Tenant matters. |

Cecil (Jim) Dye Specialisation: wills & probate
Jim, also a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, is probably one of the longest serving members of any legal practice, let alone Archer & Archer, having joined in 1943. His workload in the speciality of wills & probate within which he has operated during his career is now at a reduced level, but his breadth of knowledge, particularly of the Ely community, remains invaluable. |

Rachel Lamb Specialisation: personal injury
Rachel joined the firm in September 2002, having qualified as a Fellow of the Institution of Legal Executives in 2001. She is an erstwhile colleague of Rachel Shaw, with whom she worked closely in the personal injury field. Additionally, Rachel is developing a role as assistant to Karen in order to deal with the ever increasing demand in matrimonial and family law.

Rachel Shaw Specialisation: personal injury
Rachel is the firm's designated supervisor for personal injury and is mainly responsible for the development of this field of work. She is also a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury panel. Rachel was admitted in 1996 and, having been a salaried partner with a practice in East Anglia, joined the firm in February 2002. |

Susan Hammett Specialisation: wills & probate
Sue was admitted in 1984 and joined the firm in 1996. She is the firm's probate consultant and is responsible for the estate administration, will preparation and associated work including tax planning. |

Adrian joined the firm in 1986, qualifying as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 1995. He is a vastly experienced member of the property department, firmly established in the area as providing excellent residential conveyancing services. |

Carolyn Hughes Specialisation: conveyancing
Carolyn joined the firm in 1989, initially as a secretary, and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2002. She assists in the property department where she has developed her own caseload. |

Richard was admitted in 1964 and has served on the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal since 1984. He has a straightforward, no nonsense approach, a philosophy that is reflected throughout the rest of the firm. |
