Background and Qualifications

Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1981, having graduated with BA(Hons) from Durham University and completing the Law Society finals course at the Guildford College of Law.

Rachel was a partner at Few & Kester (now Kester Cunningham John) in Cambridge from 1984 to 1991. From 1992 to 1998 inclusive, she ran her own practice as Rachel Conn & Co. From 1999, Rachel was a partner in Lorimer Longhurst & Lees (now part of Stanley Tee LLP).

Rachel joined Archer & Archer in 2009 to develop the skills and expansion of the Private Client department. Rachel is a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) and the Law Society Probate Section.

Work Undertaken

This includes the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputy work through the Court of Protection, Trusts, Probates, Deeds of Variation, and related tax advice.

Other

Rachel enjoys Flamenco, Ceroc and Ladies Morris and is a member of Ely and Littleport Riot. Her interests include architecture, astronomy, music, birdwatching and the poetry of John Clare. In her spare time she battles the weeds on her allotment.
