Background and Qualifications
Rachel has worked in the legal profession since she left college. She trained as a legal executive whilst working in a law firm and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2001.
Rachel is a member of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme (formerly known as the Law Society Family Law Panel).
Work Undertaken
Rachel deals with all aspects of family law including divorce, cohabitation breakdown, financial arrangements following relationship breakdown, issues regarding children including child contact/residence disputes, care proceedings, emergency proceedings including injunctions.
Rachel also deals with advice concerning separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements and change of name deeds for both adults and children.
Rachel undertakes matrimonial conveyancing including property transfers and remortgages.
She deals with both publicly funded and privately paying clients.
She also deals with some civil litigation work including contractual disputes and debt collection for local businesses and individual clients.
Other
Rachel is interested in travelling especially to France and is learning French. She also enjoys cycling, walking and swimming.
In April 2006 Rachel was a member of a Rotary International Group Study Exchange to Argentina.
