Background and Qualifications

After spending some of her early childhood in New Zealand, Rachel was brought up in Norfolk. She graduated with LLB(Hons) from Kingston University in 1992, and completed her Law Society Solicitors’ Final Examinations at the College of Law in Chester in 1993. Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1996, having trained with Reynolds Porter Chamberlain in London, and East Anglian firm, Lloyd & Co., where she was a salaried partner before joining Archer & Archer in 2002, becoming a partner in April 2009.

Work Undertaken

Rachel undertakes a wide range of work within the field of Personal Injury, including claims in respect of road traffic accidents, accidents at work and occupiers’ and product liability claims. She also acts on behalf of tenants defending possession proceedings, and advises in the field of Civil Litigation generally. Rachel has been a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme since 2001, and is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

She is the firm’s designated Supervisor for Personal Injury work, and was responsible for the firm’s successful application for Lexcel accreditation.

Rachel is a Trustee of the Ely & District Citizens’ Advice Bureau.

Rachel speaks conversational French.

Outside of work, Rachel is a steadfast supporter of Norwich City Football Club (a thankless task of late) and enjoys travelling, live music, cookery and sport.
